Valerie and Charlie on Boathouse Row

Sunday, June 20th, 2010

The weather was hot but the light was awesome (it’s awesome everyday if you know where to look!) for Valerie’s and Charlie’s e-session at Boathouse Row. I was glad to be able to get away from such typical locations as the nearby Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Waterworks.

The awesome people at the Vesper Boat Club allowed us to do a few shots on and around their dock.

Booathouse Row is always buzzing with activity but if you pay attention, you can make it look like you’re the only ones there.

Wow, you can just tell that Valerie really loves Charlie!

Great light and big, red doors. What more could you ask?

The rowers were still out on this hot day. Ugh!

I’m so glad when I get to do engagement sessions with my couples. It’s sort of like a practice session for the big day in November. Their photos are gonna be hot!

WPPI Print Comp Results

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

Just received the results from the WPPI Print Competition and one of my prints scored high enough to be awarded an Accolade of Excellence. Woohoo!

This one was from Sandy and Kyle’s engagement session at Valley Forge Park. Still one of my all-time faves!

Wilmington Grand Opera House E-Session

Wednesday, August 19th, 2009

Sandra is a real go-getter and when it came time to shoot her engagement session, she took control and got us permission to shoot inside the beautiful, historic Wilmington Grand Opera House. And she did this all while living in Florida! I could have shot Sandra and Matt there all day.

I just had a "movie poster" feeling about this one.

Sandra and Matt are having their reception at the ‘gawgeous!’ Hotel DuPont next May and that ought to be a blast!
