Jillian & Rocky at the Crystal Tea Room
I’m presently sifting through thousands of awesome photos from Jillian’s and Rocky’s humongous wedding last Saturday at the Crystal Tea Room high atop the Wanamaker Building in Center City Philadelphia. Too much great stuff to post so here is just a little taste.
First stop, the awesome Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul on the Ben Franklin Parkway.
No luck getting them to allow us to take photos after the ceremony inside the church so we popped right across the street to Logan Circle. That’s one big bridal party!
I love the Rodin Museum but I tend toward the less conventional shots.
We then headed to the Philadelphia Museum of Art but our luck ran out. Rain!
The weather was no biggie. We simply headed back over to the Ritz Carlton for some photos in their incredible lobby before heading to the reception.
Their reception completely stuffed the Crystal Tea Room and if you’ve ever been there, that’s no easy feat. EBE Entertainment’s Dreamtyme rocked the place to its foundation!
We did a photo booth at the reception. Jillian and Rocky supplied the frames and we printed right there on the spot. It was a smash hit!
Whew! We were completely wiped by the end of the night. It was an incredibly long day but my crew of Mark and Olivier performed flawlessly. I also need to thank Kameron’s team from Perfect Weddings for keeping all those balls in the air!

I’ve been to the Crystal Tea Room a number of times and it is truly a special location for such a special event.
I really like your use of light to add drama to the photographs.
